We are a family of 3 who love to travel and who’ve been welcoming guests first to a B&B and now to our self-catering, which enjoys a truly privileged location, caught between coast and countryside with sea views and everything close to hand, being beside the Gaeltacht village of Kilcar, offering you a peaceful base from which to explore Donegal’s coastline. Discover secluded beaches, striking rock formations Muckross Head, and ghostly Port Village.

We have some minimum night stay settings which we may be able to amend.

As we have other listings, we can possibly swap a guest around to an identical or similar listing.

Our calendar shows a specific window of availability so for a date next year, for example, get in touch to see what’s available.

We don’t accept pets (sorry).

  • It’s just a 5-minute drive to our favourite beach, which is a beautiful 2.5km walk either.
  • It’s a 6-minute drive to Muckross Beaches and approx 8-10 minutes to a Blue Flag Beach.
  • There are several other unspoilt sandy beaches within 20 minutes, and more within 30-45 minutes, so you’ll have a different one to explore each day!

A 1-minute drive to Centra for late-night snacks, whipped ice-cream, or a 5-minute morning stroll for hot croissants!

You’re still staying in the country, overlooking the valley.

Like everything in our accommodation, we invested in having fibre broadband and WiFi routers installed to ensure strong signal in each and every room, with many of our guests telling us that the WiFi is better than their own at home in the city!

The Smart TVs are all internet-enabled HD and we provide the best Netflix Premium Ultra HD complimentarily.

Our broadband system itself is very robust and reliable.
