Guests are advised to have travel/staycation insurance.

Cancellation by us
If, due to exceptional circumstances, we are forced to cancel your stay prior to arrival, we will issue a refund of what you have already paid. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by you as a result.

Cancellation by the Guest
• Guests may cancel up until 12 weeks before arrival to receive a 95% refund.
• For cancellations up to 4 weeks before arrival, guests receive a 75% refund.
• For cancellations up to 1 week before arrival, guests receive a 50% refund.
• For cancellations made 5, 6 or 7 days before arrival, guests receive a 25% refund.
• If cancelled within 4 days of arrival (or if there’s a no-show), the payment is forfeited.

Covid-19 Policy
• We have a worry-free cancellation policy in relation to potential Government-required closures of self-catering properties (in County Donegal) and assure you that you’ll be refunded without delay.
• If you choose to reschedule, you can ascertain any rate difference using the ‘Book Now’ tool (the rate could be more, or less, than the cost of your original booking).
• If you contract covid and are not supposed to travel for the start dat of your booking, please let us know as early as possible (with proof) so we can discuss a more favourable outcome..
• It isn’t sustainable for us to promise a completely worry-free policy anymore, but we can promise to help you as best we possibly can..
• There shouldn’t be an unreasonable gap between learning of it and informing us.

Security Deposit
If your booking is for less than 6 days, a pre-authorisation is placed on your card. If your booking is greater than 6 days, the deposit amount is captured.
Provided all is in order upon your departure, it will be released to your account within 14 business days. The deposit may be used to cover cost of damage, destroyed linens, losses or if extensive housekeeping is required after your stay. The cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (someone who leaves things tidy, clean and has taken all of their rubbish/refuge/recycling to the outdoor bins provided).

Children
Guests are fully and wholly responsible for their child(ren)’s safety and security, who should be supervised at all times.
