Why we require information from guests?
At Atlantic Way Lodge we are committed to protecting your privacy, while collecting the requisite information in order to deal with your booking and provide you with the best service.


How is information collected?
Information may be collected through [](, via an affiliate partner website, via an OTA (online travel agent), via a telephone conversation, via electronic communications, in person, and on-site.


What information may be collected from guests?
In most instances, the information we may collect is:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Postal address
  • Nationality
  • Preferred payment method and details


Further, we may collect, store, and/or process other information including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Details of contracts you have entered into with third parties, e.g., tour/taxi/bicycle operators. Note that, hitherto, this has occurred for the sole purpose of assisting guests with the organising of an aspect of their trip
  • Details of your relationship to other parties
  • Date of birth
  • Where there is a query as to the age of the booking party (i.e., we require the booking to be by an adult over 18 years of age), we may request to have sight of photographic identification and as a result, we shall have sight of the date of birth
  • Medical details such as, but not limited to, details concerning allergies
  • Car registration number


We may process other data if we feel it is required to enhance your service, or if we are required to do so by law. Hitherto, we have not had occasion to provide any Lawful Authority within the jurisdiction of Ireland, the EU or otherwise, with any information provided to us by guests. If required to do so by Irish or EU law, we shall provide same.

If you book via a third party, they may process different information, some of which may be passed onto us. To find out more about the information a third party collects from you, the guest, please visit the relevant website and/or check your email correspondences.


Where is the data stored?
We use an online booking system to keep a record of data and are required, by law, to maintain such records for a number of years. Whilst we are confident in the security of this system, we are unable to guarantee the complete security of this database. Therefore, any data you provide to us is solely at your own risk.


What about marketing materials?
If you sign up to a mailing list, we shall collect your name, your email address and your express consent to receive such materials. You will not be forwarded any marketing materials unless you have given us your express permission to send same.
