Guests are fully and wholly responsible for their child(ren)’s safety and security, who should be supervised at all times. No games are to be played on the country lane, nor on the front garden. There is a stream in the side garden which parents
The lands surrounding the accommodation are privately owned. Guests do not have access to them under any circumstances.
Smart Home Monitoring
We are considering having smart home monitors installed to record noise levels (not sound). We are installing security cameras to the external entrances and parking area (not inside).
Please respect night-time rest hours, starting at 22:00.
We wish to reiterate that the area is not a party destination and does not lend itself to behaviour including loud noise, excessive drinking, music, events or partying. Family-orientated, civilised and nature-loving neighbours and visitors would be understandably uneasy when such disturbances arrive roaring, cheering, and carrying alcohol, so it is not tolerated here.
If guests intend to stay for such purposes, we respectfully suggest that they immediately cancel and book elsewhere. The fallout of guests behaving like this disturbs the peace, can be a safety issue, leads to damage, and is extremely unfair and unpleasant for a small family business.
Before your arrival, please ensure that the number of guests on your booking is correct. If you booked via Airbnb, you can amend the booking yourself. Please notify us before inviting extra persons to join you (additional payment may be sought). This applies in relation to temporary visitors and overnight guests. There may be insurance issues, so it may not always be permissible. We would urge guests not to have unauthorised persons during a pandemic and an additional fee of €100 per day shall be sought for each unauthorised person (whom we were not notified of, regardless of whether they sleep overnight). We reserve the right to enter to ensure the number of guests on the booking is correct.
We trust that guests appreciate the increasing need for this agreement, particularly the aim of discouraging unsuitable bookings, reckless behaviour, and unauthorised guests.
Please note that if the terms of a stay are breached, guests may be required to vacate immediately and amicably, and, owing to this breach, we shall retain the full payment and the full deposit shall be forfeited.
