• At Atlantic Way Lodge, we know you are coming for a long-awaited relaxing break and that you don’t want all the worries of covid interfering with your stay.
• As a former theatre nurse, I know how to prevent cross-infection and am taking all precautions to protect everyone, so once you arrive, you can step inside and begin to relax without any concerns.
• I have carefully considered my mitigation measures and have made some minor changes to how the accommodation is presented for your arrival.
• We are doing this so as not to detract from an enjoyable stay for you, and if you think something is peculiar, you will hopefully appreciate it is entirely for your safety.

What we’re doing & what your experience will be like

• We continue to offer guests a contactless check-in and check-out.
• The decking area and views are extremely popular, but so popular that passers-by sometimes venture in with a picnic, so we felt it prudent to remove all furniture to your patio area.
• You will still be staying in a beautiful location, just above the Wild Atlantic Way, with lots of free and socially isolated activities.
• There’s mobile signal to check in with your loved ones and WiFi to continue those Zoom quizzes.
• We continue to provide modern accommodation, with lots of style and comfort and without shabby chic, so you can rest assured everything is easily and thoroughly cleaned, and won’t be missed prior to your stay.
• We have passed Airbnb’s Enhanced Cleaning protocol and implement this to the letter.
  
• All outgoing guests are asked to leave things tidy and clean, to please dispose of their rubbish, recycling and anything that wasn’t in the accommodation upon arrival to the recycling or waste bins outside. This further mitigates against cross-infection.
• Please remember that guidelines may change before your stay and that our procedures could change accordingly.
• As Covid-19 and its consequences are no longer unforeseen or unexpected, we would encourage all staycationers and any international travellers to ensure that they are adequately covered with a staycation/travel insurance, particularly during this time. Thank you for your kind understanding.

We understand that some of the above procedures or anything new we introduce may seem a little draconian, we don’t intend them to be, but we genuinely take your safety very seriously.
