Why we require information from guests?
At Atlantic Way Lodge, we are committed to protecting your privacy, while collecting the requisite information in order to deal with your booking and provide you with the best service. We collect information for legal, safety, security and compliance reasons.

How is information collected?

What information may be collected from guests?
In most instances, the information we may collect is:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Billing address
• Preferred payment method and details
• Adult Guest Names
• Childrens’ / teens’ ages only. We do not collect personal information from persons aged 17 or under.
• ID
• Vehicle registration number(s)
• A closed circuit television camera system covers the parking area and the external entrance area.

Further, we may collect, store, and/or process other information including, but not limited to, the following:

• Details of contracts you have entered into with third parties, e.g., tour/taxi/bicycle operators. Note that, hitherto, this has occurred for the sole purpose of assisting guests with the organising of an aspect of their trip
• Details of your relationship to other parties
• Date of birth

If you book via a third party, they may process different information, some of which may be passed onto us. To find out more about the information a third party collects from you, the guest, please visit the relevant website and/or check your email correspondences.

Card Payment Processing

Where is the data stored?
We use an online property management system to keep a record of data. Whilst we are confident in the security of this system, we are unable to guarantee the complete security of this database. Therefore, any data you provide to us is solely at your own risk.

Google Analytics

Our website is integrated with Google Analytics for statistical purposes, as it tracks and reports website traffic but does not gather your personal information.

What about marketing materials?

If you sign up to a mailing list, we shall collect your name, your email address and your express consent to receive such materials. You will not be forwarded any marketing materials unless you have given us your express permission to send same.

If you no longer wish to receive these materials, kindly contact us. We will update our records, or you may be able to remove your consent by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button contained within communications.
